Maryland Recent Arrests is privately operated and is not affiliated with a government agency, sheriff’s office, jail, or corrections department. Neither this site nor its advertising partners provide Fair Credit Reporting Act services. This reference points to arrest records and booking-photo resources; it is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.
Purpose and Status
This is a private reference service with no tie to a Maryland government office. It does not hold official arrest or court records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, or file a document with an agency.
The pages map public-record routes across Maryland, including local custody sources, State Police news, the court portal, and corrections lookups. Some search tools are run by outside providers. A government custodian remains the source for the record it holds.
Rules for Visitors
Visitors may use the reference pages only in lawful ways. The following limits apply:
- Do not use the pages to break any law.
- Do not use information to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person.
- Do not use site information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or any other FCRA-covered decision.
- Do not try to gain access to an account or system without authorization.
- Do not run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against the pages.
- Do not interfere with the service or another visitor’s use of it.
No FCRA Consumer Reports
Maryland Recent Arrests is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). It does not prepare consumer reports, credit reports, or other reports for an FCRA-regulated purpose. Neither the site nor its ad partners offer screening services. You agree not to use information from these pages or a linked tool for any of the following purposes:
- Hiring, firing, or another employment decision
- Tenant or housing screening
- Creditworthiness or insurance rates
- Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government program
- Any other use governed by the FCRA
Outside Sources
Links may lead to county rosters, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, Maryland county sites, courts, and third-party search services. These destinations set their own content, privacy, terms, and service availability. A link is not an endorsement, and Maryland Recent Arrests is not responsible for an outside page or its handling of information.
Public-record requests to a Maryland agency are made under the Maryland Public Information Act, including General Provisions §4-203. Maryland Commercial Law §14-1324 sets a separate free-removal remedy for qualifying requests to fee-charging mugshot websites. Those laws govern the relevant agency or publisher; they do not make this site the record custodian.
